Six Layer Dolphin Art Scroll Saw Pattern.

Download Below
Simulated Picture

There are six 1/8" thick layers for this dolphin art piece. You end up with a 3/4" thick glue-up. I kept the detail in this pattern really simple. This would be a good test piece to see if you enjoy cutting these layered art patterns.

Question?
I have a question for you guys who like to cut these layered scroll saw patterns. Cutting this from 1/8" thick Baltic birch plywood is kind of expensive. The pattern above, cut from 8" X 10" X 1/8" BB ply will cost around $15. What other material do you use that still looks good and is less expensive? Have you tried 1/8" MDF or chipboard?
