This small Eight Tray Ring Jewelry Box can easily be cut in an afternoon. The box is cut from 1/4" thick maple. There is also one piece of 1/8" thick Baltic birch plywood used for the bottom of the top tray. This just gives more room for thicker rings. You could use 1/4" for the tray bottom if you know the rings are not too large.
My wife liked the decoration on the top of the box. She is my test for this type of project. Obviously, you could use any design on the top that you like or just leave it blank.

I wanted to share this video of a friend of mine down in Georgia. Hans Meier is a prolific scroll saw craft maker and super friendly guy. I have known Hans for a few years and appreciate his friendship.
The event that Hans is showing in the video is over but I just wanted you to see his booth. He has added some lathe work that I have not seen before so he is always looking for new products.
If you ever have the opportunity to watch Hans work a craft show it is worth the trip. He has the gift of gab. He has no hard sell, he just makes people so happy that they can't help but buy something from him. Trust me, it's a gift.
Thanks for the video, Hans.
