Part Separator tray Scroll Saw Pattern

The 2007-2023 pattern catalog is complete.

Read before you buy. This is a lot of information but it is important so please take the time to read if you plan to buy the catalog.

Every year in January I take a few days to add all of the previous year's patterns to the offline catalog that you can purchase. I always feel compelled to mention that you do not need to buy this catalog to have access to the free patterns. These are the same patterns that are available online for free.

So why would anyone buy the catalog? It started several years ago when a reader requested that I make my patterns available for purchase. When I asked why they would want to buy something that was free they said it was simple. She said, " You are getting older and will pass away sooner or later. Your patterns may no longer be available". I never thought about that and did not plan on dying anytime soon. I asked several readers if they were interested and they almost unanimously said yes. They like the ability to have the pattern available offline. So I made it happen. I have literally sold thousands of them so I guess she was correct, except for the me being dead part.

The patterns have been updated with all patterns from 2007 through the end of 2023. That is a total of 4383 PDFs, many with multiple patterns.

I added another 427 PDFs during 2023. Many of these also have multiple patterns.

The catalog has two delivery options. Instant download for $20. That comes to about .0045 cents per pattern. That is pretty close to free. :).

You will also be able to buy the patterns on a USB flash drive. The cost of the USB drive is a  little more. It is $25 plus shipping. The US shipping is pretty low but international shipping can add up.

I used to manufacture the USB drives myself and sell them from my office. That is changing now. I have contracted with a company to make and distribute the drives for me. I needed to make this change because I was having trouble keeping up with the orders. This company has a good reputation and the price is going to be slightly less than I could produce the drives myself. This year I was going to have to upgrade from a 4GB USB drive to an 8GB drive. They are using a better drive than I could buy and will be faster shipping the product. For all of you who currently have orders in for the USB drive, I will be sending you an email as soon as the drives are ready. You can also opt for the instant download if you like.

Another option that I could not deliver is international shipping for the USB delivery option. This company will deliver internationally. I have not checked to see what all countries are on the list but it will be available in many countries.

IMPORTANT: Only the instant download is available today. The USB drive will be available as soon as the test product arrives and is checked by me. That should happen in the next few days.

There is a link below to order the instant download option.

Instant Download $20
This is a large file so if you are on a slow connection you may want to consider the USB drive when available. I have cable internet at about 300 megabits per second and it takes me about 2 to 4 minutes to download. Click here to test your internet speed speed

VERY VERY VERY IMPORTANT:
If you ordered last year's catalog during the October, November, or December months you are eligible to get the updated files for free. This is digital files only. You can add these files to your current catalog to be updated. IMPORTANT: You cannot add the 2023 files to the old USB drive. They will not fit. I highly recommend that you copy the USB drive to your computer's hard drive and keep the USB drive as a backup. Then you can copy the update to your hard drive. This will also make searching faster.

If you are eligible simply send an email to support@stevedgood.com. Copy and paste this email address into your email client so you don't make a typo. All you have to add is "Update please". and I will get it delivered ASAP. This offer will end January 31.

Sometimes it is okay to use our scroll saw for something practical. We don't always need to create gifts or art. Today's pattern is very simple but hopefully useful.  When assembling or disassembling furniture or machinery it is good to stay organized. Having a try with multiple sections can come in handy. This tray has three sections that are over 4.5" X 3". You can make them as deep as you need. It also has two elongated sections for marking pencils and a screwdriver or other long parts. The tray is 10.25" wide and 8" deep.

You can fill the sections with magnetic sheet material or round rare earth magnets glued in the sections.

I spent 37 years as a tech for Xerox and we tried every trick in the book to keep parts and systems organized. We had some repairs and installs that would take several days to complete. We would do installs as a team of two to five people. The Igen printer below was one of those installs that could easily take over a week to get up and running. Without staying organized the problems would just compound and get overwhelming.

Now you are not likely to have an install or furniture build like the Igen but even a piece of furniture can come with several bags of nuts, bolts, and screws.
