Candle Lantern Scroll Saw Pattern.

Let me start by saying that I feel the steeple ornament on top of this lantern is too tall. After I cut it and looked for a few minutes I realized I would like it better if it were shorter. To solve the problem I included the steeple pattern shown in the photo and a shorter pattern. You can decide which looks best to you.

The candle holder will hold up to a 3" diameter candle. The maximum height of the candle should be less than 5". You should not leave the lid on if you are using a real candle. I suggest an electric candle.

Folks, there are some great prizes in this giveaway. The prize value is in the hundreds of dollars.

As of the time I write this post, there are 12 days left in the contest. A total of 62 entries. That number is going to go up but I am going to tell you how to gain an advantage in winning. No, you don't have to cheat. You just have to do a little extra clicking.

When you go to the entry page you have 27 ways to enter and they all add an extra entry. That's right, Enter one time and get 27 entries. Under the entry form, you will see a list of 27 objectives. For each objective you complete you get another entry.

These are not difficult. Heck one is simply to visit my blog. Just click the link in the list. I don't even care if you look at the blog, just click and get an entry added. The whole list will only take a few minutes. If you see something you like then that is a win also.

There will be seven winners. You might as well be one of them. All you have to do is enter(27 Times!)

At the end of this post is a video showing the prizes. I own most of the products in this giveaway and I can attest to you that there is a lot of value here. The rotary tool alone is worth taking the time to enter.
There are also three $100 gift cards for Bear Woods. That will buy a lot of scroll saw blades. Go enter and win something fun.

Guys, I use the Pegas scroll saw almost every day. I am lucky to have a few great saws and the Pegas holds its own with any of them.
If you have been looking to move up to a high-quality scroll saw then take a look a the Pegas 21" Scroll Saw.

The Pegas Scroll Saw - Why is it better?

While it’s made in the same factory in Taiwan where the Excalibur scroll saw used to be made, Pegas has added Swiss precision and engineering to their scroll saw. Let’s start with a beefed up chassis featuring a reinforced web in the connecting rod and vertical rocker and needle bearings pressed into the rocker arm as opposed to a sleeve and bolt connection that is prone to wear and failure. Next, the saw comes with the revolutionary Pegas Blade Chuck Heads installed (a $90 value).

These precision-machined blade clamps, manufactured from aircraft-grade aluminum, can be adjusted easily to grip blades better than any other clamp on the market, and weigh less to reduce wear on your machine. Finally, the table boasts a thick, scratch-resistant coating that prevents corrosion and make the wood slide easier. The saw still boasts the precision rack-and-pinion system that tilts the saw head to make angled cuts (instead of tilting the table). It tilts a full 45-degrees to the right, and 35-degrees to the left (because of the dust collection port). It also positions all of the primary controls (speed, power, and blade tension) at the front of the top saw arm. A stand and foot switch are available.

This is the end of the daily posts. Keep scrolling for lot's more scrolls saw fun!
