This bird feeder is cut entirely from 1/4" thick Baltic birch plywood. You need to use a waterproof glue like Titebond III. You will also want an exterior paint for protection.
The center feed box is removable to make it easy to fill and clean.
I used light-duty chain and eyelet screws for hanging the feeder.
I have been spending quite a bit of time in the back yard this spring. The cardinals and finches have been very active this year. I had to take a tree down last summer and I was afraid that would be a problem. They are still coming to my yard and sitting on the fence. We have not put up our feeders yet but I plan to get that done this weekend.
