Download the Pattern Below
I have designed scroll saw patterns almost every day for the last 14 years. I normally sit down around midnight and start trying to decide what the subject of the pattern will be. Sometimes it will have a theme such as a holiday and sometimes it is just totally random.
Today's pattern is just totally random. I had the clipart in the image below and wanted to see what I could do with it. I played around with a few designs and then settled on making a simple 3D version of the pattern.
When I am designing a random pattern like this lizard I'm not thinking "Who will want to cut this?", "Will anyone have a use for this pattern?". I am just having fun designing the pattern to see what I can make happen. That is the trick to not getting burned out when you do something as long and as often as I have been designing patterns.
If no one cuts this pattern I still had fun making it. Sometimes I make a strange, random pattern and it gets a huge number of downloads. Sometimes not so many. I can rarely guess which patterns will get big numbers.
So the moral of this story is that I sometimes make strange patterns. If it is not your cup of tea then there is good news. I will make another pattern tomorrow. :)
Order your Personalized Christmas Ornament Patterns:
Personalized Christmas Ornament patterns are $1 each with a five ornament minimum. Each additional name adds an extra $1 to the total. 5 ornaments = $5. 20 ornaments = $20.
After you place the order I will complete the patterns and email them to you with a payment invoice. You have to be completely satisfied before you pay.
I do not offer blank patterns. This is one of the ways I support what I do. I ask that you please not use the template to create your own custom name patterns.
My goal is to have the orders complete in three days. I will keep you posted if there are delays.

Amazon's price is down a couple of dollars today for the DeWalt. $538.99. That is not much of a drop in price but in today's market, any drop in price is nice to see. Everything seems to be going the opposite direction.
