I designed this pattern in two sizes. The mini version has a wingspan of 5". The large pattern is 10". The mini pattern is cut from 1/8" Baltic birch plywood and the large pattern is 1/4" BB ply.
I often take a project to my wife after I cut it so she can see what I made. I handed her the plane and she proceeded to try to spin the prop. 😀 The prop does not spin. It does now.
I included what I call a cut sheet pattern for the mini biplane. These work well as gifts. You cut the outlines and give the sheet to the person. They can use a Xacto knife to cut the tabs then assemble the plane. These cut sheets are also handy for laser cutters.
