Tech Clock Dial.

This is a paper clock dial I was playing with. I thought a few of you may like to use it for a clock. If you have a techy person in your family this might be a cool project. The dial is in sizes from 4X4 to 8X8.

If you use this dial on a project I would love to see what you come up with. I'm thinking about using it for a clock in my computer room but I have not designed the clock yet.

This is a larger than normal download. Close to three megs so if you have limited bandwidth it may take a little longer than normal.

Hard Work is the Key to Success

Hard work is the key to success. I'm looking forward to putting in some hard work on the blog this coming year. I hope you will come with me as I try to make the site bigger and better.

I took a few days off for Christmas so I'm way behind on email. Please understand that I may not be able to answer them all. I'll do my best so be patient with me as I work through them.

I have had several requests to keep the order form open for Christmas ornaments year round. I am working on a page to take the orders. When I have it ready I will post the link here. Thanks for all the orders this year. I hope you enjoyed making the ornaments.

Important Note:
I just wanted to let everyone know that I have not forgotten the giveaway. I had a small technical issue but have it corrected now and I will announce the winners tomorrow.

Sometimes you just have to be humble, bow your head and say "I should have known better". The emails started early and continued all day. Yes I used the word "Away" when I should have used the word "Aweigh". The phrase has a significantly different meaning depending on which word you use.

I wish my writing skills were better. I have tried to improve but I still fail more often that I would like. It's not so bad when my poor grammar shows up in the blog post but it should not happen on a pattern. I have corrected the pattern and if you like you can download it now. Thanks to everyone who pointed out the mistake.

God Is Love Cross Scroll Saw Pattern.

Wow, where did this year go?  Christmas is just a week away then we will quickly celebrate a new year.  This has been a good year here at the Scrollsaw Workshop. We had pretty good growth in subscribers and visitors. I was able to update the Community Forum to make it better. The growth of the forum has continued also. It has 162,040 Posts in 16,952 Topics by 5084 Members.

The free pattern catalog has continued to grow. I have not made a complete count lately but it's getting close to 1,500 free patterns. I think that's the largest free pattern catalog on the web. I have lost track of free pattern downloads because the software that counts them died. It's a big number.

My youtube channel has grown. We have 13,178 subscribers and 6,857,635 video views. This is an area of the blog I have neglected this year. I really need to put up more videos. Youtube really helps the blog grow. Lot's of scrollers have found my blog through Youtube.com.

I was able to self publish my first pattern book(Wooden Vases on the Scroll Saw). It has been received well and I do plan to eventually put out volume two.

So far I have written 261 posts for 2014. That's 72% of the days this year I had the opportunity to share my passion with you all. That's down a little from past years. In seven and one half years I have written a post in 82% of those days. I'm proud of those numbers and I have enjoyed every minute.

I think my resolution this year will be to get back to at least that 82% number. That means I have to write at least 300 posts. I wish I could resolve to answer every email but I know that's not possible. I do try to read them all but I even miss that sometimes. Sorry for missing so may. I hope you understand.

I like to reflect back near the end of the year just to see where I have gone and where I want to go.

I hope I keep things interesting for everyone. Thanks to all of you for allowing me to have all this fun.
