Scroll Saw Relief Cut Cats Clock Pattern.

Some of the most popular patterns I create are pet patterns. We love our pets. Today's pattern is a relief cut cat clock.

For those of you not familiar with a relief cut one the scroll saw it is basically a cut made with the blade tilted at a small angle. The cut produces a cone-shaped piece that pushes out or in a certain amount and wedges tight.

The project requires a 2 3/4" clock insert. I get mine from www.bearwood.com.

The angle used was 1 degree. Remember that the angle will change if you use a different thickness of wood or a different blade. Always do the test cut.
