Here in Indiana whitetail deer is the most commonly sought after animal for hunters. Deer season starts for some around the middle of September and ends in late January. I am personally not a hunter but worked with guys who spent every free minute planning a hunt or hunting. Being a city boy my whole life, hunting made me a bit squeamish. The guys I worked with were very knowledgeable and respectful hunters. They explained to me the benefits of hunting overpopulated animals. I only went hunting with them once. We were hunting squirrels. The guy I was with shot one and cleaned it on the spot. That was too much for my stomach so I never went again.
The deer mount is about 15" tall and the pattern calls for 1/2" thick wood. As you can see in the image above it is cut from five layers. This is not a very challenging pattern to cut. You do want the edges of the layers to match well so you may have some sanding to do if you move your cut off the pattern line.
The layered hunting pattern will be the more challenging pattern of these two to cut. There are some very small interior cuts and delicate parts. The pattern is 13.25" tall. The pattern calls for 1/4" thick wood but you can change that up to use what you have. Notice in the animated image above that I show a thicker front layer.
INFORMATION:
I just want to pass along that I am way behind on answering emails. The holidays are a busy time so please be understanding and patient. I'll be honest, some will not get answered but I will do my best to read them all. I am behind by about 250 emails and because I am long-winded and type slow, it becomes a problem. My typing teacher told me to use more than two fingers but I did not listen.😊

The pattern includes both the chair and the table. The pattern comes in two sizes. The large chair is 11.5" tall and 8" wide. The large pattern is cut from 1/2" thick wood. The small pattern is 50% in size and is cut from 1/4" thick wood.
Each piece is only four parts so it should be a fairly easy cut.
If you enlarged this pattern by 150% and used 3/4" thick wood you would have a seat that is 12" wide and the chair would be around 17" tall. That would be tall enough for a toddler.
The Valentine pattern is 8" wide and cut from 1/4" thick plywood.
