The number of on-road registered motorcycles in the US has doubled in the last 20 years. The current number is over 8 million. About 8 percent of households have a motorcycle. California has the most with 800,000 followed by Florida with 550,000. The average age of a motorcycle rider is 48.

Beginner riders typically pay $5,000 to $10,000 for a new motorcycle. Experienced riders pay $10,000 to $35,000.

This motorcycle model was cut from 1/4" thick Baltic birch plywood. The bike is 7" long. I kept this model very basic. There is not much realism but I think it still would look nice on a rider desk.

The rider is glued to the back of the motorcycle to act as a stand so it stays upright.
