Plain End Blade Kit for the WEN 3920 Scroll Saw:

I received several emails today about the WEN 3921 video I posted yesterday. There were several suggestions for upgrading the saw. I will share some of these with you over time.

I received an email from Rod C. He pointed me to a video that shows a WEN conversion kit for plain end blades. I am not sure that this kit will work on the 3921. It says it is for the 3920 but I think the clamps are identical. I also can't tell if this kit is easier to use than the adapters which come with the saw.

I have ordered the kit and will test it when it comes in. If you watch the video there are links in the description to the parts needed. I suggest you not order them until I make sure they work on the 3921.
Including shipping, I only paid $14.17. I have no idea how long the shipping will take.

Personalized Christmas Ornament Patterns:

I am still making good progress on ornament patterns. I should be able to get caught up today. If you have orders in the queue, keep your eye on your email inbox.

The price is $1 per name with a 5 name minimum. I keep the price as low as possible
because I want everyone to have a chance to make these ornaments for family and friends.

You only pay after you have received the order and are
100% satisfied with the patterns. Invoice included with
the pattern email. Pay by credit card(secure Paypal), check, or cash.

The patterns will be emailed to you after they are completed.
Please allow up to a week for delivery.

You can use last names on the ornaments if you like but remember that the more letters the more
difficult they are to cut. Ten letters and up gets pretty small. If you need to you can enlarge the patterns by 10% to make the interior cuts larger. No special characters are supported. I can get a hyphen in there but it looks odd. It has to connect the two letters so it does not just fall out.

$12 per sheet of 12 coins plus $3.50 shipping
Inlay with a 1" Forstner Bit.
The perfect way to sign your work.

RIKON Power Tools 10-326 14" Deluxe Bandsaw

I have the older model of this band saw. It has worked flawlessly for me. I am able to resaw wide boards with ease. If you are a scroller you know how expensive buying thin boards can be. If you mill your own scroll saw ready boards you will save tons of cash. This band saw can pay for itself if you resaw enough boards.

  • Three Innovative, Patent Pending features make adjusting this redesigned band saw easier than ever before!
  • Spring Loaded, Tool-Less Blade Guides – easy & fast setting of the guides without wrenches!
  • Quick-Adjust Rip Fence – adjusts for drift with the simple turning of a few knobs! No tools needed
  • Quick-Lock Table Trunnion System – handy lever and gear unlock and set table angles in seconds!
  • Extra Tall Rip Fence – Increased fence and re-saw bar heights of 6” give added support of lumber being ripped or re-sawn

This is the end of the daily posts. Keep scrolling for lot's more scrolls saw fun!
