U.S. NAVY Plaque Scroll Saw Pattern.

This salute to the U.S. Navy will be a little challenging. Make sure you come up with a strategy for the interior cuts. If you cut out the large interior cuts before you do the chain links there is a good chance it will break. I would start with the smallest interior cuts then move to the progressively larger cuts. You want to keep the board as strong as possible for as long as possible.

The anchor part of the graphic came from www.freepik.com. I modified it to be easier to cut and added the ribbon, chain and letters.

Guest Project: Robert Martin

I wanted to share this picture I received in my email today. This was a memorial project for Kaden. Kaden was  a 17 year old boy who died all too young. Kaden owned a guitar like the one I did a pattern for earlier this year. Robert used the pattern and added to it with the frame and artwork. This was such a loving memorial and I am very happy that one of my patterns could be used to honor Kaden. Nice job Robert.

If you are in the Atlanta area please come out to The Woodworking Show March 31 - April 2, 2017.
It will be held at the Cobb Galleria Centre. I am told it is a very nice venue. General admission tickets are $14 cash only at the door. If you purchase online you get a $2 discount.

I will be a guest of the Gwinnett Woodworkers Association in their booth. I will be there all weekend. Please stop and say hi. I know we will have a great time. Come join the fun.

All your favorite vendors will be there displaying their wares.
