Christmas Teal Light Candle Scroll Saw Pattern.

Download Below

This small Christmas Tea Light Candle scene is 7" wide and about 6.75" tall. I should have used a darker wood for the back layer so the Santa and deer would stand out better. I'll let you decide what looks best. It looks better in person than in the photo. I think you could even use all Baltic birch plywood if you have that available. You could even use paint but the Santa layer has quite a bit of veining and paint will cover most of that up. Maybe you could just paint the back layer?

All the parts are cut from 1/4" thick wood.

SAFETY warning. I am using real tea light candles. If you are not comfortable with real candles then, please use battery-powered tea lights.

For those of you who may be new to the scroll saw let me explain veining. The extra detail lines in the Santa and deer are cut with the scroll saw. Just start at the edge and cut to the end of the line. When you start to back out the blade it is usually best to keep the saw running. As to back out the blade turn the wood so the back of the blade tracks the cut.
