A dance pattern, Exciting Information, more Information and a couple videos. That should keep you busy. :)
This is a fairly large project for the little or big dancer in you life. The fretwork is approximately 8" X 8". It should be cut from 3/4" thick wood. Yes it is going to be a little bit fragile.

I am scheduled to be at the Atlanta Woodworking show March 31-April 2 2017. The show will be held at the Cobb Galleria, Two Galleria Parkway, Atlanta Georgia 30339.

I will be hosted by the Gwinnett Woodworkers association in their booth. It is tentative but I may also be giving a seminar each day during the show.  I'll have more info soon and will give you folks a heads up here on the blog.

If you are in the Atlanta area or like to travel I would love to meet you there. I have not attended this show before but everyone tells me it's a great show. The exhibitor list is the whose who of the woodworking industry. The Cobb Galleria is also a first rate venue so I think you would have a great time if you can attend. As schedules firm up I'll let you know.

More information:
I am a little late getting the $3 pdf catalog updated this month. I have two appointments Wednesday then I'll head back to the office and work on the update. Thanks for your patience.

Guest Video:
Here are a couple of videos by Hans Meier an some members of the Gwinnett Woodworkers Association Near Atlanta. This woodworking club is one of the best. If you live in the Atlanta area do yourself a favor and go for a visit. They have a special scroll saw group that meets the first Monday of the Month. They have an interesting feature every meeting. I have participated in two of their meeting over Skype and had a blast.

Hans Meier is one of the resident master scrollers and he often gives the presentation. This two part video shows Hans and friends talking about making wheeled toys.  Toy making is a fantastic use of our skills. Not only does a child get a new toy but the good it will do for your heart is huge. It's hard to beat the feeling when a child or grandchild plays with a toy you made with your own hands.

Don't be confused by the intro of part 2. It is the same as part 1. Just give it a minute to get past and part 2 will start.
If you are reading this in the email newsletter you may not see these videos. Click the following links to watch them in your browser.

Heritage Wood Specialties is you source for scroll saw ready boards. If you are new the the scrolling hobby you have probably found out it is difficult to find thin boards ready to cut. Do you need 1/4" thick boards for a project? How about 1/2" thick? If you can find them can you get them 12" wide?

That's where Heritage Wood Specialties comes in. They supply scroll saw ready solid wood planks. Each plank is selected for quality, Color matched. Edge glued and sanded to thickness. You can get the blanks in 12" X 12", 12" X 16" and 12" X 20" sizes. All the species you need for great scroll saw projects are available.

I will soon be doing a video showing much of what they have to offer. Stay tuned.
