I Still Play With Train Scroll Saw Pattern

This steam locomotive pattern is over ten inches tall. There are two layers. The back layer calls for 1/2" thick wood and the front layer is 1/4" thick.

I am considering a new line of patterns. Model train enthusiasts love to have miniature buildings for their layouts. I recently purchased an N scale set and will be starting with that scale because there are not as many sources available. I will also do HO scale as time goes on. N scale is 1/148 to 1/600. HO scale is 1/87th. N scale is so small that I am not sure they can easily be cut with the scroll saw so that may be a problem. From what I read there are approximately 500,000 model train hobbyists in the US.

The model railroad hobby is an incredibly fun and rewarding pastime. It involves building miniature railroad layouts, designing miniature railway networks, and running them. Most model railroad enthusiasts start by building a basic layout and then gradually add more complex features and components such as bridges, tunnels, landscaping, and more to make it more realistic. It can be a great way to learn about the different parts of a railway network, as well as the history behind the railway industry. Model railroad hobby is a great way to relax and have fun while building something beautiful. It is also a great way to connect with like-minded people and build friendships.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

Today, 12/20/2022 is the final day that I will be accepting orders for the Personalized Christmas Ornaments. The order form will go offline a midnight eastern time.

All current orders have been emailed with the payment invoice. If you do not have your order then please check your email spam folder. If you do not find them there please email me and I will make sure you get them. They were sent but they sometimes get blocked at the server by a spam filter.

I want to thank everyone who placed an order this year. These funds are important to allow me to pay the bills here at the Scrollsaw Workshop. I did come close to setting a record for the number of orders. I am just about five orders behind 2016. By the end of the holiday season, I am pretty worn out with the ornament orders. They take about three hours a day extra time but I still enjoy making them after all these years. I have the process semiautomated now but I do several thousand each season so it is still a challenge. Thanks again for all the orders.

2022 Personalized Christmas Ornament Patterns are open for orders.

I am taking orders for this year's personalized Christmas Ornament Patterns. The price is the same as always. Five names minimum for $5. $1 for each additional name.
