This clown was intended to be a happy clown. To be honest, he is a little scary looking. Maybe I am starting to develop Coulrophobia(The fear of clowns). Anyway, I'm not sure this is a great pattern for the grandchild's room. 😁
There are a couple of weak areas in this pattern, so cut carefully and remember that glue is your friend. Baltic birch plywood is a good choice for its strength.
Spiro Art Generator
60 years ago, the Spirograph toy hit the market and was a big hit. This was well before the arcade games were popular, so these little gears seemed to produce magic.
My app is only a fraction of what you can do with a real spiralgraph, but it still produces some nice art. It takes some practice to learn what all the input numbers do, so I added a button labeled Random. It sets the input to a set of random numbers. Click the "random" button, then click the "draw new layer" button, and off it goes.
The app uses layers to add multiple graphics, but the layers can be individually deleted. The app saves the graphics as SVG vector files so they are usable with your laser engravers.
There are quite possibly bugs in this app. A lot is going on. Understand that this app has only been working for a few hours with very little testing. The saved files can also be rather large, so I would not save them to a smartphone.
