This pattern is 10" X 8" and has four 1/4" thick layers. Because of the size you will probably want to use 1/4" plywood.
I get all of my plywood from Ocooch Hardwoods Online. They sell high-grade Baltic birch plywood that is excellent for cutting on the scroll saw. You can get a 12" X 12" X .25" sheet of Baltic birch plywood for $1.80. Shipping is not cheap, but ten of the 1/4" sheets would cost me around $25, with shipping costs here to Indiana. This is not a paid ad. I pay full price for the plywood. They have just always had very good customer service and I like to pass good service along.
