This wall-mounted box holds 11" matches for starting deep jar candles or fireplaces. The pattern calls for 1/4" thick wood. All the joints are simple butt joints. Make sure you use enough glue on the joints. Clamp the box and let the glue completely cure.
The light brown patch on the front of the box is sandpaper to light the match. Unless you want to replace the sandpaper often, use good-quality paper.

Maze Puzzle Game
This maze puzzle game is something I put together yesterday morning. It generates random, always solvable mazes. You then use the arrow keys on your keyboard to solve the maze against a clock. The size of the maze can be 20 cells X 20 cells all the way up to 50 X 50 cells. The maze in the graphic below is the 40 X 40 cell maze.
The game can also run the maze itself by clicking the Auto Solve button. It will not always find the shortest and quickest path, but it will always find a path. See if you can beat its time. Just click the Reset Player button to keep the same maze, and the dot goes back home without changing the maze.
This app will not run on a tablet or smartphone unless you have a connected keyboard with arrow keys.
