This Shark pattern is almost ten inches long. The layers of the shark are 1/4" thick, and the base is 3/4" thick. If you like sharks, then this should be an easy pattern to cut. There are not many interior cuts so it should be a quick cut also.
The Lionfish pattern is also close to ten inches long and 8" tall. 1/4" thick for the fish layers and 3/4" thick for the base.
I like animals and have handled some of them that have bad reputations. I have held a 6-foot Boa. Had a 6-inch from leg to leg tarantula on my arm. I raised piranhas and owned various other snakes. The bad reputation of all of these animals is only slightly deserved if they are handled with the respect they deserve.
One animal that I have an extreme fear of is sharks. I don't like water when I cannot see the bottom, and thinking that a shark might be where I can't see gives me the chills. I have only spent a short time around the ocean, but I have been deep-sea fishing and was nervous the whole trip. I also got seasick, which was no fun either. We never saw a shark on the trip, and that was fine by me.
