The Star Trek TV series ran from 1966 to 1969. There were 79 episodes. I watched every one of them several times over the years. I was nine years old when the show started and very impressed with what seemed so real to me. By today's standards, it is not visually impressive but the characters hold up well. Mt Spock is every bit as intriguing today as he was 55 years ago.
Mr. Spock's "Live long and prosper", Vulcan salute was thought up by Leonard Nimoy on set. He had seen the hand gesture as a child in an Orthodox Jewish synagogue service in Boston. The two phrases, "To boldly go where no man has gone before", and "live long and prosper", are two of the most quoted TV show lines of all time.
The ratings for the show were not great at the time so NBC canceled the series after 79 episodes. It played in reruns for years and now can be streamed on Paramount plus and prime video.
This plaque celebrates my favorite character from Star Trek. Mr. Spock struggled with his human side. There was always a bit of human emotion to slip up Mr. Spock's logical Vulcan mind.
This plaque is eight inches in diameter. It is four 1/4" thick layers. You could eliminate the backer board for the ornaments if you like. I am showing the simulated plaque image with the backer boards painted black.
