My daughters birthday is in a couple weeks. She has been doing some remodeling in her home. She had a request that I build her a built in shelf and bed side tables for her master bedroom. I spent most of the weekend working on the two end pieces. It's been a while since I have built something on this scale. It has been a lot of fun. I'll be building the center section sometime this week.
She will be doing all the priming and painting. I'm hate to paint so that's good for me.
We built the sections in my workshop and transported them to her house today. As you can see these are large pieces and I was happy to see they fit when we set them up to measure for the center section. Kellie did the layout for the parts because she has special plans for what she will display. That's one of the nice things about building these things yourself. You get exactly what you want.
I'm a big fan of the Kreg pocket hole jig. All the parts in this project are assembled with pocket hole screws. They make a project like this go pretty fast. The units are built with mdf and face trimmed with solid wood.
The center section will be a box divided in three sections lined up with the top shelf. Recessed lights will be mounted under the bottom of the middle section.
Each digital book is available for download immediately after payment.
The books are $12 per edition and contains eight unique patterns each.
