It is cut from 1/4" wood. The slots that connect the two parts needs to be cut to match the thickness of the wood. If you wood is a little off from 1/4" then adjust as necessary.
I included a blank back to the pattern so you can easily add your own design. You could use a stencil font to customize with a name for instance. Just use your imagination.
The following video is a shameless plug showing the construction of my scroll saw vases. It shows just how easy it is to make these beautiful pieces of art. I currently have two books available. Each has 8 different vase designs. I show different techniques for the ornamentation including fretwork, pyrography, polymer clay inlay and wood overlay. Each book is $12 and you can download it immediately after purchase. I use secure Paypal checkout to accept credit cards. You do not need a Paypal account to make the purchase.
If you would like to have the books but do not want to buy online then you can pay by check or cash. Just send me an email and I will email you back with details how to order. steve@stevedgood.com
The books are digital only. No printed version is available. It's just too expensive to print and I want to keep the price low.
Each digital book is available for download immediately after payment.
The books are $12 per edition and contains eight unique patterns each.
