This Rocking Mama Teddy Bear comes in two sizes. The small pattern is only 3.5" tall. The large pattern is 6" tall.
I designed this pattern as something really quick you can cut for your grandchildren/children. There are only four cuts and two holes to drill. A little sanding to ease over all the edges and it is ready to go. I would not even apply a finish.
There are also a lot of people who collect Teddy bears so you might be surprised that some adults will enjoy this project also. Something this simple would also be a nice small project for craft shows. You could use it as a free gift to get the children to want to come to the booth and drag their parents with them. You could also sell these very inexpensively. I did not cost it out but I guess you could charge as little as $5 and still make a profit.
On the small pattern, the baby Teddy bear is pretty small and could be a choking hazard. Make sure you suggest the appropriate age for the child. I would not recommend the small Teddy bear for infants.
I use these more than I thought I would: Sanding Twigs.

Five packs of twenty twigs

I bought these sanding twigs over two years ago. I use them pretty often and still have most of them left. They last a long time for two reasons. The first reason is that they are made well. They don't wear out fast under normal sanding. The second reason is that you can cut off the used section and keep using them until they get too short.
The twigs have a foam core. This lets the twig slightly contour to the wood as you sand. They work pretty well for easing over the edges of interior cuts. They are great for removing start/stop nubs. They also remove the fuzzies on the backside of a cut. I don't like them as well for removing fuzzies on an entire project but I grab them for tough to reach areas.
The twigs come in multiple grits for 80 up to 320. The twigs are not a standard size. Some will be 5.5" long and others might be 7" long. They often vary in width as well.
When I really need a sharp point for sanding I just trim the end to a point with an Exacto blade.
Sanding is often more time consuming than fun. I think I have spent more money on sanding devices than any other tool in my shop. I am always looking for ways to make sanding faster and easier. These twigs are just another arrow in the quiver. They are inexpensive which also helps.
