Judy Gale Roberts Intarsia Artist
I am deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Judy Gale Roberts, an extraordinary Intarsia artist, and a cherished friend. Her remarkable talent and warm spirit will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was one of the kindest people in our hobby. I do not have any details on her memorial services so I will see if the family plans to give out that information or if it is private.
Judy impacted thousands of people in the hobby from her classroom in Tennessee and her books and patterns. available online. She designed and completed commission art for major institutions including NASA.
If you did not have the opportunity to interact with Judy then watch the video tour I did of her classroom in Tennessee below. The video is several years old but still inspirational. The front of her class is her gallery and the work is of a true master.
My condolences to Judy's family and friends. She will be missed.

Think Safety
Remember to keep the safety of yourself and others in your work shop in your thoughts at all times. Always wear eye and ear protection. Follow all the manufactures warnings that came with your power tools. If I demonstrate something on this web site that you don't feel is safe, don't do it. Your safety is your responsibility. Fingers are handy things, try to keep all of them.
