Karl over at
www.scrollsawvideo.com released a video that I wanted to give all the DeWalt DW788 owners a heads up on. At the monthly Gwinnett Woodworkers Ass. meeting they had guest speaker Bob Brokaw. Bob is an engineer who services the machine. He does a tear down and shows how it works as well as problem areas.
Even if you don't plan to service your own saw it's still an interesting watch. I'm a service engineer myself so maybe I just like this kind of stuff.
I didn't have time tonight to get Karl's permission to embed the video so I'm just going to link to it on his Youtube channel. Click the link below to watch the video.

Think Safety
Remember to keep the safety of yourself and others in your work shop in your thoughts at all times. Always wear eye and ear protection. Follow all the manufactures warnings that came with your power tools. If I demonstrate something on this web site that you don't feel is safe, don't do it. Your safety is your responsibility. Fingers are handy things, try to keep all of them.
