Information: I am very close to getting everything ready to take Personalized Christmas Ornament orders. This year's options are in the image above for the people ornaments. I still need to complete the pet ornaments, but I hope to complete them and be ready to go by Wednesday. The price will be the same this year. Five ornaments minimum for $5, and $1 for each ornament after five.
Here is a heads-up for this year. I am expecting to be a little slower in delivering the orders this year because I am still dealing with some health issues. You will not pay for the ornaments until after I deliver them by email. Here is a funny story.
I have some people ask me why I do not take money up front because they think people will not pay. It is because I trust you guys completely. I have been doing these ornaments for years, and at the end of the season, I have never been shortchanged. Most years, I make more than the number of orders because you all are so kind and loyal. It is easy to run a business when customers are like my readers. Thank you.

Today is for all the small farmers out there. Small farmers have it pretty tough these days. Everything they need to keep their farms running—fuel, feed, fertilizer, equipment—just keeps getting more expensive, while the prices they get for their crops or animals hardly budge. The weather sure doesn’t help either—one bad storm, drought, or flood can ruin a whole season’s work. It just feels like bad weather hits more often now. They also have a hard time getting their products to market, so they often end up selling to middlemen for less money. On top of that, many are juggling debt, old machinery, and not enough help on the farm. And when it comes to government support, most of the big breaks seem to go to the large industrial farms. Still, small farmers keep going, mostly because they love what they do and take real pride in putting good, honest food on people’s tables. God bless the small farmers.
