I have not posted many patterns lately. I'll try to upload a few in the next week to try and catch up.
I cut this pattern from 1/2" walnut. The candle cup can be up to about 2 3/4" in diameter.
When you cut the small round platform that the candle sits on it should be sanded to a taper. That's difficult to see in the picture but you will see what I'm talking about when you cut it. The taper gives it a more delicate look.

Think Safety
Remember to keep the safety of yourself and others in your work shop in your thoughts at all times. Always wear eye and ear protection. Follow all the manufactures warnings that came with your power tools. If I demonstrate something on this web site that you don't feel is safe, don't do it. Your safety is your responsibility. Fingers are handy things, try to keep all of them.
