I have had a few requests lately for simple patterns that could be cut by children. We all know how fun it is when we have our children or grand children come into our shop and want to learn to cut. Most of the time their attention span is very short. With a little help this little bunny mini clock can be cut in just a few minutes. Just print out the pattern and have it handy for when the time comes.
An adult should probably drill the mini clock hole with the forstner bit. The rest of the project should be easy enough for most children. There are no interior cuts and the only challenging cuts might be the tail and feet because they are small and require tight turns. If they have trouble just let them round them off and they will still look fine.

Think Safety
Remember to keep the safety of yourself and others in your work shop in your thoughts at all times. Always wear eye and ear protection. Follow all the manufactures warnings that came with your power tools. If I demonstrate something on this web site that you don't feel is safe, don't do it. Your safety is your responsibility. Fingers are handy things, try to keep all of them.
