This Merchant Marine plaque pattern comes in two sizes. Eight inch diameter and a six inch diameter. It was brought to my attention that I did not have a plaque for the Merchant Marines. I am correcting that oversight with this plague.
The Merchant Marine is the fleet of ships
which carries imports and exports during peacetime and becomes a naval
auxiliary during wartime to deliver troops and war materiel.
The Merchant marine played a huge part during WWII. They were there for every invasion during the war. Casualties were high with over 9,000 killed in action. The ships of the Merchant Marine determined what the fighting forces could and could not do. If the mariners could not get supplies and troops through then plans had to be changed. This made them extremely valuable. Many believe that the war would have been prolonged many years without the availability of these ships for duty.
Keep the orders coming for the Custom Christmas Name Ornament Patterns. Make one for all your friends and family. Don't forget the mailman/woman, barber, doctor, beautician etc. When you fill out the form just substitute "Doctor", "Barber", "Santa" for the name.
If you are selling at arts/craft shows you could make several generic ornaments to add to your inventory. Sell them to your customers to give to the people who take care of them. You could easily come up with a list of 20 professions for your inventory. Because they are generic they can be stack cut to increase profit. Invest a one time $5 to $20 and sell them for years to come. Just remember that space is limited. Endomolecularbiologist might get a little tough to cut.
