The above picture is a sneak peek at a project I am working on. When I publish this technique of making jewelry from copper pipe these will not be the designs. These were made as an example for a professional goldsmith who is interested in how I do my designs. He will be using gold.
I will be working on a video showing the technique. I am also considering taking orders for custom jewelry name patterns. Would you be interested in custom patterns? I know you need to see the process first but I'm just trying to get a feel for the interest.
The pieces in the picture are 1.25mm thick. That's equivalent to about 18 gauge sheet copper. A 6" X 6" sheet is about $10 but these two inch pipes are only $1 at Home depot. They do have to be split and flattened though. I'll show that in the video.
I cut each piece in about 45 minutes. They are coated to prevent tarnish. The one on the bottom has a swarovski crystal heart as an embellishment.
