When I count my blessings, I count you twice.
It's hard to beat spending time with friends. That's exactly what I have had the pleasure to do this weekend. I am at the Woodworking Show in Atlanta and having a wonderful time. The show continues tomorrow from 10am until 3pm. If you have a chance please stop by the show and say hello.
To everyone who visited with me today and yesterday I just want to say thank you. I am enjoying meeting all of you.
I will try to spend a few minutes today getting video and pictures of the show to share later on the blog.
Attendance at the show has been pretty good so far. Saturday was especially busy early in the day. Many scroll sawyers stopped by to chat. I think we may have even convinced a few non-scrollers to give it a shot.
There is also a Craft show in the exhibition hall right next to the woodworking show. I spent a few minutes walking that while I had a few minutes. It is full of fantastic artist and crafts people. If you come you might want to visit that show also. I think entry fee for the Craft show was $13. That was a great deal for such a fantastic show. Just plan to visit both shows while you are here.
Sterling Davis
I had a chance to catch up with some old and very good friends today. I have known Sterling Davis(above) and Russ Claridy(below) for what feels like forever.
Both of these guys are great ambassadors of our hobby and it's great to get to spend time together.
Russ hosts two video shows a week. One is scroll saw centered and the other is more general woodworking. You can find out more about Russ at Simply Wooden Creations.
Sterling Davis is a blogger and well know content creator on YouTube. Take a few minutes to visit his page for lot's of great content.
Russ Claridy giving me a gift that I will treasure.
Doing a post from here in the hotel is difficult. Answering email is almost impossible because I'm staying so busy. I will do my best to get caught up when I get back Tuesday.
