Stickman Astronaut Scroll Saw Pattern. They're Back!

It's been a while since the last Stickman pattern. I know that some of you think it has not been long enough. :) For those of you who enjoy the series I give you Stickman Astronaut.

The dream was large. The effort immense. The cost exorbitant. Man has finally become the first living being on Mars. Wait....... What?

Neil Armstrong III

Neil's great-grandfather was the first human to walk on the moon. Now he is the first human to walk on Mars. You would think that he was chosen because of the symbolism of being related to his great-grandfather but that was not the case.

Neil won a "Let's go to Mars" sweepstake sponsored by Mars Incorporated, the maker of Milky Way candy bars and SpaceX founder Elon Musk.

Elon is now looking for corporate sponsorship to bring Neil back home but with slow sales of his Tesla autonomous vehicle, his efforts have been less than fruitful. Looks like Neil has become the first permanent resident of Mars.

Nuebo Flicakack

Much to Neil's surprise, he was not the first living being on Mars. Upon landing, he was greeted by Nuebo.  Nuebo is from the planet Arkas. Arkas is the third planet in a system of 12 planets orbiting a star named Intercrus.

Nuebo also won a sweepstake to be the first of his species to visit another world. Apparently, capitalism is one of the driving influences in the formation of intelligent life.

Nuebo has offered to give Neil a lift back home. Unfortunately, the U.S. government is not issuing visas to aliens who do not have at least a high school education or a sponsoring family member in the states. Looks like Neil may be stuck on Mars for a while.

Mars One

Mars One is an incredible feat of human mastery of the sciences. It features warp drive, anti-gravity suppression systems, biomatter production systems, Advanced artificial intelligence command and control systems and an Xbox One gaming systems by Microsoft.

Soon after takeoff, all the command and control systems shut down. It is suspected that Russian hackers installed cryptocurrency mining software on the Mars One supercomputer. Neils then had to continue the flight to Mars using the Xbox controller for navigation. Good thing he took extra batteries for the controller.

Custom 3D Name Patterns. $5

I am still taking orders for custom 3D Name Patterns. These are fun and easy to cut. You need a 1.5" X 1.5" X Length wood blank. Simple construction grade 2 X 4's can be cut down and work fine.

After you order I will create the pattern and send it to your email address. You do not pay until you have received the patterns and are completely satisfied. I will include a payment link in the email. If you prefer you can send cash or check to the address included in the email with the pattern.

Some people have requested patterns with business names. That is fine but rember that when the name gets too long the pattern can get very difficult to cut. Something Like "Tommy's Barbershop" will work but "Linda's beauty salon and sushi bar" just won't fit.

Other people are using the first names of husband and wife. I have even had a few two-word quotes like "Beautiful Together". Use you imagination. If the pattern will not work I will let you know.

Let's talk about the Delta 40-694 Scroll Saw: Does it suck?

This saw is still on sale for $314.63 on Amazon. Quite a few of them are being sold so the price will go back up once Amazon's pricing software sees the demand. If you are interested this is a good time to buy. If you can't buy now the price will eventually go down again so I will keep you posted.

"The Delta 40-694 sucks, Why do you recommend it?". I get emails with quotes like this all the time. Substitute any brand name and machine model you like and I guarantee I have heard it. So what gives?

There are no perfect saws on the market. There are no perfect manufacturers making perfect saws. I can show you horror stories about many products and companies that I receive. I do not base my opinions of products by individual stories. They are often not relevant to the overall quality of a product.

I am lucky to be in a position to get thousands of emails from thousands of people in the community. Over time I am able to see a relationship between the quality of a machine or product and the email I get.

The Delta 40-694 is not perfect and there are some concerns about service. Guess what? That is true about almost every scroll saw sold, especially in the entry and mid-level class. That's just the disposable world we live in.

The Delta 40-694 is an excellent saw for the money that will give the average user many years of use. It has all the features that most people will ever need. It is built with decent quality control. Are you guaranteed to be happy? Well actually yes.  Delta Machinery offers one of the best warranties around. They offer a 5 year limited warranty. If you buy from Amazon they have a great return policy. You can return it up to 30 days after receipt of shipment.

If you have a bad experience with a product let me hear it. If you have a great experience with a product I love to hear that also. I will do my best to be fair and straightforward with my reviews and product placements.
