These little angels are super simple to make. They are cut from 1/4" Baltic birch plywood. They use battery powered tea light candles. Most of these small candles are roughly the same size. The opening for the candle is 1.5" wide and 1.75" tall. You will want to measure your candles and modify the opening as required.

I send out over 1 million email newsletters a month. Sometimes things go wrong and the newsletter will not get delivered to the subscriber's inbox. One of the ways I keep this blog alive is advertising. Those ads go out in the newsletter. Some email clients will see the ads and consider them spam. The newsletter will then get re-directed to the spam folder. I try to keep the ads relevant to the community but if you hate ads in your inbox then do not sign up for the newsletter. I understand and you can always just visit the blog for the same content.
The newsletter is just a copy of the daily blog post. The post gets wrapped into an email and automatically sent out every morning. If you ever miss a newsletter simply visit the blog and see if there was a post for the day/s you missed.
Most email clients will allow you to tag an email as not spam. In the image above you see the Gmail email client open to the spam folder. If I right click on the email I can click on (Not Spam). This will tell the email client to deliver email from this address to the inbox in the future.
I have found that some email clients will change the (Not Spam) designation out of the blue. You may have to check this from time to time to keep things going.
Occasionally the Newsletter will stop getting delivered at all. If it is not in your spam folder and you have checked to see if there was a post for that day then shoot me an email and I will try to check it out. There are times when the newsletter is going out to the email address but is simply does not get there. When this happens I do not have any control over the problem. This can be caused by several issues. Some education and business locations have filters that can block the newsletter. You anti-virus my be involved in the problem. It gets complicated. Email me and I will make sure the newsletter is going out and I may be able to give some advice on the problem.
If you are not already a newsletter subscriber then you can sign up at this link. It is free to sign up and I do not sell or distribute your email address.
