Please read the whole post before you watch the video.
I have a very special treat for you on this post. This month is the 50th anniversary of the Apollo moon landings. I have been following and documenting a project that has significant historic value. One of the most significant scientific events in human history and the world-renowned artist, Judy Gale Roberts come together for the creations of a woodworking masterpiece.
NASA commissioned Judy to create a piece of art to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Apollo. To add even more historic value to the art, NASA supplied Judy with wood from the moon. (Watch the video for an explanation)
A few months ago I was asked to follow the progress of this masterpiece. I had to keep it under wraps but have now been given permission to release the video.
Here is a sneak peek picture of what you are about to see created. 1200 pieces and over a thousand hours went into this work of art.

I know some of you don't watch the videos but I hope you will make an exception with this one. This piece of art will hang in the facility at NASA for as long as they are there. Your great, great, great grandchildren will one day see this art.
I want to encourage you to watch the video then hit the thumbs up button. Please leave a comment on the video. I want as many people to see the work as possible. The more thumbs up and comments it gets the more YouTube will push the video. This is an opportunity to show our hobby at its best to the world.
