This simple crane sculpture is 10.5 inches tall. In the simulated picture, I am showing the cranes painted black with a wood base. Finish it any way that works for you. I was thinking that this sculpture would look nice cut from white Corian.
The sculpture is only 3.6 inches wide so you can cut it from common size boards. The pattern calls for 1/2" thick wood but 3/4" will work fine.

George Fotinakes Enhances my Basket Pong Game:
I received an email from George Fotinakes today telling me about some changes he made in the Basket Pong pattern I published a few days ago. George has been trying to keep the grandchildren busy and entertained so he wanted to make them something they could play with.
George saw a shortcoming in the project that he decided to fix. He knew that the grandchildren would get annoyed with having to retrieve the ball out of the cup every time a basket was scored.
