This pattern has two sizes. The large pattern is over 12" tall. It prints of multiple sheets that need to be cut and joined. The small pattern is about 10" tall and will print on a single sheet of paper.
If you place the project outside remember to weatherproof it as well as you can. If you have a back door leading to your garden, that might be a nice indoor place to hang the sign. If it is exposed to direct sun and rain it won't last long under any circumstances.
US Households spend over $50 billion a year on their gardens. Approximately 35% of homes have gardens either at home or share a local community garden. Of those who do raise gardens, 29% are 18-34 years old. The number of younger gardeners is on the rise.
Gardening has grown considerably in just the last few months. Vegetable gardens are more popular than ever in urban areas. When the possibility of food shortages hit the news, city farmers got busy all over towns and cities.
My green thumb got lost somewhere down the line. I can't grow mold. Several years ago my daughter and I decided to grow a small, raised bed vegetable garden behind our house. I built the box and poured in some dirt. We planted carrots. To everyone's surprise, they sprouted.
Several weeks later we decided it was time to harvest those beautiful carrots. I grabbed the leafy stem and pulled it. A beautiful orange carrot came out of the dirt. There was a problem, The carrot was about two inches long and three inches around.
When I poured in the dirt I did not recognize that the dirt under the box was dry and very hard. I did not put enough dirt in the box and when the carrots hit the hard dirt they grew out and not down. We had pancake carrots. I have been getting my carrots from Krogers since that experiment.
Another Beautiful Clock by Dave Kettunen:
Amiens Cathedral Clock
Back in 2014, Dave did a write up for my blog about his experience cutting the York Minster clock. If you were not around back then you should check out that post. POST LINK. It will give you a good idea of what is required to cut a pattern like this.
Dave recently completed another beautiful clock. This one is the Amiens Cathedral Clock. His next clock project is the Imperial Tower clock that he plans to start this fall. I look forward to seeing that one when he finishes.

If you have extra time on your hands then give one a try. It is not exactly a weekend project. That's for sure. Once you do get it completed you will have a showpiece that will amaze family and friends.
