There are 144 interior cuts in this torus art. I counted them three times and got a different number each time. :) It is somewhere close to 144 interior cuts.
I am showing the torus painted black on a white painted backer board in the simulated image.
I know these unusual scroll saw patterns are not everyone's cup of tea but they get more downloads than the average pattern. I have not cut this pattern yet but I probably will because I like this type of art.
From Wikipedia
In geometry, a torus (plural tori) is a surface of revolution generated by revolving a circle in three-dimensional space about an axis that is coplanar with the circle.
If the axis of revolution does not touch the circle, the surface has a ring shape and is called a torus of revolution. If the axis of revolution is tangent to the circle, the surface is a horn torus. If the axis of revolution passes twice through the circle, the surface is a spindle torus. If the axis of revolution passes through the center of the circle, the surface is a degenerate torus, a double-covered sphere. If the revolved curve is not a circle, the surface is a related shape, a toroid.

One product that is new to me is Oldie's Oil. I have not used this product yet but the non-solvent-based oil has me interested. I will be ordering some soon to test it out. I just wanted to share this because I get lots of emails asking about food-safe finishes. I am especially interested in this for a wooden toy finish. If any of you have used this product let me know what you think.
