It is always fun to make a pattern that says thank you to a group of people who make the world a better place. Small family farmers can often offer the freshest food products. Who has not stopped at a local roadside farmers' market and enjoyed selecting fruits and vegetables right off the back of the truck?
If you are a farmer, thank you for keeping food on our tables.
These signs are three layers of 1/4" thick wood. The signs are 12" wide. Thie simulated images above may be a bit difficult to see the layers so I included the parts breakdown image below.
Exciting News! Pegas is introducing a 30" model of their great scroll saw.
I am always happy when our hobby grows. Having options is a good thing. Pegas recently gave us another fantastic option. The 30" Pegas Scroll Saw. Not everyone needs a table this large but for some, it is a welcome feature.
The banner above is from one of my sponsors. Bear Woods. They are hoping to have a shipment of the 30" saw by mid-March. Bear Woods is currently taking pre-orders for this saw. They list the price at $1,399. US residents Tax-Free. My guess is that the supply will be pretty limited so give them a call if you are interested in purchasing this saw.
The Pegas saws were developed in Switzerland and are manufactured in Taiwan. The Taiwanese manufacturer has a great reputation for delivering high-quality tools based on the designed specs. I have used the 21" Pegas scroll saw almost daily since before it was released in 2019. SCIES Miniatures of Switzerland developed the saw with high specifications and that's what they got.
If you have any questions feel free to give Bear Woods(800-565-5066) a call. I will also try to answer any questions that I can.

Worx WX429L 4 Amp WORXSAW 4.5" Electric Compact Circular Saw
About this item
- [SMALL FOR A REASON] Quick, more efficient cuts and you can take it with you when you don’t want to lug a big saw around
- [EZ-SET DEPTH GAUGE] The lever lets you go from 0-45 degree bevel settings with quick adjustment
- [MADE FOR LUMBER] Excellent depth-of-cut for slicing up to 2" stock lumber. Cut 2x4s in a single pass. It also cuts metal, tile, and plastic
- [SEE THE CUT] Left-sided blade optimization gives you a clear line of sight on anything you’re cutting
- [DO IT YOURSELF. DO IT BETTER. DO IT WITH WORX.] WORX tools are engineered with cutting-edge technology, and above modern efficiency standards, so you can build a cost-effective tool collection that’s been designed to last
- [POWERFUL, PORTABLE] At 4-1/2”, and only half the weight of a full 7-1/4” circular saw, you get portability without sacrificing power. The thinner blade makes for less strain on the tool, so it can work harder
- [4.4 LBS] Light, so you can operate it with one hand. That weight also allows you to make more precise cuts and work longer with less fatigue
