Today's pattern is a layered hollow vase. The front and back layers are 1/4" thick. and the center layer is 3/4" thick. I included the pattern in two sizes. The large vase is 10" tall and the small vase if just under 7" tall.
This is an easy pattern to cut. The bigger challenge is the sanding after the vase is glued together. The more accurate you cut the less sanding you will have. Sand until the edges are all smooth and flush. For a more finished look, the vase needs a round-over on the edges. You can sand the round-over or use a small round-over bit in a router. If you use a router be very careful at the tips of the vase. The router bit will break the tips away if you don't use a backer.
I also have two books of vase designs available. Each book has eight patterns. The books are digital downloads and cost $12 each. On the sale page, there is a video showing how the vases are cut and assembled. Enjoy
