This segmented pot is 5.5" tall and 6.5" in diameter. The individual segments are cut from a ring so they are all exactly the same shape and size. Each ring makes two layers of the pot so three rings make a six-layer tall pot.
Because the glue area is so small you want to give the glue plenty of time to cure before you start sanding. I added weights to the top and let it sit for a few hours.
The pattern includes a glue guide so you are sure to get the spacing correct.
