On Friday, November 11th we will honor our veterans here in the US. Veterans day is a time to celebrate all the men and women who have served our country.
There are currently, approximately 19 million living veterans in the US. No WWI vets are still alive. There are an estimated 167,000 WWII vets alive. Gulf war -era is the largest group of veterans surpassing the Vietnam veteran group in 2016.
From my heart, thank you for your sacrifice and service.
This pattern is a segmentation style pattern. Cut the pieces like you would a puzzle. Contour sand the edges then glue the pieces to the backer board.
Scroll Saw Blade Storage
There are lots of ways to store scroll saw blades. I like to use plastic test tubes. You want to buy tubes that are 150mm long and either 16mm or 20mm in diameter. Here is a link to the 16mm tubes on Amazon(Affiliate link). Try not to buy glass tubes. They break way too easily.
Most scroll saw blades will come in a package with a paper sheet with the stats for the blade. I remove the sheet and roll it into the tube for easy identification. I keep the majority of blades in a box still wrapped in plastic bags. When a tube is empty I restock it from the box.
You can either buy a tube storage rack like the one below Amazon Affiliate Link or,
you can make one and save a few dollars. Here is a link to my pattern for the one in the photo below.
The order form will accept up to twenty names. If you need more than twenty then start a new order form. PLEASE double-check the spelling of names. PLEASE, make sure that you select an ornament style for each name entered. After the order form is complete scroll to the bottom and hit the SUBMIT Button.
I will complete the order and email you the patterns as a PDF just like all the patterns in my catalog. You will not need to pay for the patterns until they are delivered. If you are pleased with the patterns there will be a payment link in the email. There will also be an address to send cash or check payments
My goal is to complete the orders within three days. As the holiday season gets into full swing I may need more time. I will keep times posted on the blog.
