This rabbit stands over 9" tall. She is cut from 3/4", 1/2", 1/4", and 1/8" thick wood. If you want to keep her outside in the garden make sure you use waterproof glue and exterior paint.
My father passed away when I was ten years old. I have great memories of our time together in the rabbit shed. He was a show rabbit breeder. We would travel around to fairs and other events to show these rabbits. There are several recognized breeds of show-quality rabbits. I cannot remember which breeds my father specialized in. When I was young I had photos of some of his rabbits with their trophies. Those have been lost over the years.
We had a large shed in the backyard with dozens of rabbit cages. It was an everyday chore to keep the cages clean and the rabbits looked after. One job I remember very well was keeping the matted fur on the bottom of the cages clean. My father would use a small torch and burn it away. It smelled terrible.
Another memory was walking in on opossums that would slip into the shed. The noise they make when startled is terrifying. Okay, those were not the best memories but the important memory that I cherish was spending time with my father when he enjoyed his passion.

This fret cross pattern comes in two sizes. The small cross is 10.25" tall. The large cross is nearly 13" tall. The pattern calls for a 1/2" thick backer board and a 1/4" thick cross. These can be changed to what you have available.
