Last weekend was the Kentucky Derby. We live across the river from Louisville so there are always tourists and party-goers in town. Many of them come in private jets.
There is a small airport about a mile from my house. Clark Regional Airport(KJVY). I stopped by the airport and enjoyed watching the mass of jets in line trying to get out of town. I was there over an hour and the line never slowed down. On a normal day, they have about ten aircraft at this airport.
I have been an aviation buff for most of my life. I have an app on my phone that allows me to identify any plane in the sky and track its position. I just enjoy watching aircraft. Here is a video of the day I spent watching the Derby traffic at Clark Regional. If you enjoy watching aircraft then you might like the five-minute video.
May is National Pet Month. I thought a cute puppy pattern would celebrate pets. He/She is cut from 3/4", and 1/4" thick wood. The ears are 1/4" thick.
Just to give you an idea of how much I enjoy aviation, here is my full instrumentation flight simulator.
I enjoy my rig but it is basic compared to many home-built simulators. If you want to see what an advanced simulator looks like then check out this video. VIDEO LINK
