Two Patterns Today
I mentioned the other day that I was going to bring you some more challenging patterns to cut. The Lord's Prayer Cross should be a fun challenge even for the more experienced scrollers.
Click to EnlargeLet's talk about the Lord's Prayer cross pattern first. Difficult patterns like this do not get as many downloads so I normally avoid them. 90% of my patterns are entry-level patterns. This pattern might meet the expert level simply because of the number of smaller interior cuts.
This will be a difficult cut because of all the interior cuts. There are not only many of them but they are small. The capital characters are about 1/2" tall. I sized them for the 1/16" drill bit and you will probably want to use a #3 blade. On top of those challenges, the cross is 14.25" tall and 10.25" wide.
I suggest cutting this pattern over multiple days so you don't get fatigued. That is one of those suggestions that I am terrible at taking for myself. I would probably power through this cut and not be able to stand up when finished.
The front layer is 1/4" thick and the back layer is 3/4" Thick.
If you have been looking for a nice challenge, this will be fun to cut.
