It's time to make something for the kids and maybe the big kids as well. I have tow toys for you today.
The Indy 500 is only days away so I designed a very easy-to-cut Indy car. The body has three 3/4" thick parts. The wheels are 1/2" thick and the front wing is 1/4" thick. You will need some 1/4" axle pegs or 1/4" wooden dowels for the axles. The car is about 8" long
The robot is 11" tall. The pattern calls for 1/4" and 1/2" thick wood.
A few companies are working on humanoid robots that can actually do something useful at an almost affordable price. The robot in the video below is the Unitree G1 out of China. A few US companies including the Tesla Bot from Elon Musk's company are trying to make it affordable. For $16,000 I will have a long list of things it will need to do, Cook, Clean, Yard work, Drive, and just for kicks play a few games. Is that asking too much?
In the robot video, the guy punches the robot all over the place to show its balance. One day these robots might be smart enough to look back at these videos. That might be a bad day for us humans. 😲

The USB drive contains all the Scrollsaw Workshop Patterns. The drive is $25 plus shipping and handling. Now with the new distributor the drive ships to the US and many other countries. The shipping can get expensive to some international locations so the Instant download option above is probably more desirable.
