This Welcome sign pattern is not going to be easy to cut. There are several thin cuts that can break if you are not careful. Do not get discouraged and remember that glue is your friend. If a blade of grass breaks off just continue the cut and glue the broken part to the backer board after the welcome sign is glued down.
I also tried to minimize the weak areas by connecting extra blades to the weak areas. That caused extra interior cuts but it will make the pattern easier.
The United We Stand Pattern:
The United We Stand pattern is 8" wide and has two 1/4" thick layers. This is one of those projects that calls for paint. I am showing the simulated image with white painted on the backer board behind the stars and letters. The backer board is blue and the flag is red.
The saying "United We Stand" is a powerful reminder of the strength that comes from unity, especially in a country as diverse as the United States. Throughout history, Americans have faced challenges that tested their resilience—from wars and economic struggles to social movements and national tragedies. Yet, time and time again, unity has been the key to overcoming adversity. When people set aside their differences and work together toward a common goal, they build a stronger, more prosperous nation. "United We Stand" is not just a slogan; it’s a call to action that reinforces the idea that cooperation, respect, and solidarity are the foundation of a thriving democracy.
We all need to understand the true meaning of "United We Stand" before it's too late. We will never all agree on some issues. Some issues are worth fighting for but hate is never a desirable part of that discussion.
