No matter how large or small your work area is, no matter how many fancy tools you have, it is your space, and you should be proud of it. You are spending many hours in your workshop, so hang a workshop sign that says everyone else is welcome to stop by and say hello.
These sign patterns call for 1/2" thick wood. Nice plywood is a good choice for signs. In the rendered images above, I am showing chains attaching the top and bottom parts. If you use chains, make sure they are large enough to get around the half-inch-thick wood. A bead chain in a loop will also be an option that is easier and much smaller.
The Flying Geese pattern is 10" X 8" and four 1/4" thick layers.
