I have a couple more Christmas-themed patterns for you today.
The Christmas Tree box is cut from 1/4" thick wood. It is 8" from wall to wall and 4" deep. My thought was for it to be used as a Christmas candy box. It can be used for anything you want. I just thought about candy.
The fretwork angel is 6.5" tall.
Working safely in your workshop is important.
Safety in a home woodworking shop is important because it keeps you in one piece while you enjoy your hobby. Working with saws, sanders, and sharp blades is a lot of fun, but one slip or moment of distraction can lead to injuries that put you out of the shop for weeks—or worse. Good safety habits like wearing eye protection, keeping your space clean, and using the right tools the right way mean you can spend more time creating and less time worrying. It’s about protecting yourself so you can keep enjoying the craft for years. I have been writing this blog for over 18 years, and I have gotten word in more than half of those years that a workshop caught on fire. I remember one year when the house was lost in a garage workshop fire. Not every accident is preventable, but why not reduce those that are preventable?
