I am running out of time to get this posted, so I will cut it short. Both of these patterns are over ten inches tall. The hummingbird pattern has 1/4" and 1/2" thick wood. The snowman is 1/4" thick wood.
When you are cutting the snowman, there is a notch at the bottom. Do not overcut that notch. You want it tight so the other piece fits well and glues tightly.
